Chris Achilleos is a world renowned artist and illustrator. Over the past 30 years, he has created countless paintings for book covers, editorials, posters, video covers, album sleeves and film.
Chris has worked on literally hundreds of book covers during the 70s / 80s for authors including Edgar Rice Borroughs, Michael Moorcock, Robert E. Howard, J. R. R. Tolkien etc., from Dr. Who to Star Trek.
Amongst his clients for film work have been giants Ray Harryhausen, Ron Howard and George Lucas. Chris has also worked as a Conceptual Artist on the films Heavy Metal, Willow and the epic “King Arthur”, directed by Antoine Fuqua. Poster work has included SuperGirl, Bladerunner and Jackie Chan’s “The Protector”.
Chris is most famous for his hard hitting fantasy works, and his unique representation of “Amazonian” women.
